I’m 35, born on Dec 24, making me a Capricorn. I am shy about meeting new people, but once I get comfortable, good luck shutting me up. I can play several instruments including but not limited to piano, clarinet, and flute. I also sing. I have a tendency to stay up the greater majority of the night time and sleep during the day – if I sleep at all. I live in Iowa with my best friend and I have a dog, Panda, and a cat, Spooky. I love to play with blogs, WordPress, and web design. I go by several different names – but my given name, Charity, was the name my mother had picked out for her daughter in 7th grade when a class project required her to choose one boy’s name and one girl’s name. Had I been a boy I would have been Leslie Layton. Truth be told, sometimes I wish my name WAS Leslie.

Student
I am currently a student of University of Phoenix/Axia College. I am working toward my Associate of Arts in Information Technology with a focus on Web Design. After this I plan to work toward my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a focus in Web Development. I may or may not work toward a Master in Information Systems. It just depends on how much debt I am in as far as student loans are concerned.

Fangirl
I’m a fangirl when it comes to certain things. My current fangirl obsessions (aka, “husbands”) are (in no particular order): Tony Stewart, Ben Roethlisberger, Matthew Nelson, Sully Erna, Nikki Sixx, Joe “Blower” Garvey, Chad Kroeger, Travis Jones, Jared Ellis, & Steve Gonsalves. Ghost Hunters, NASCAR, NFL, and music make me squeal.

Music
I’m eclectic when it comes to my music. I listen to Aerosmith, Godsmack, Motley Crue, Britney Spears, Shakira, Timbaland, Rascal Flatts, Hinder, Nickelback, Nelson, and many many more. I was raised on country and oldies like Elvis, although I’m not a big Elvis fan. But I do like some of the old 50s and 60s music, and to a lot of people who are older than me’s surprise, I like Ricky Nelson.

NASCAR
Tony Stewart owns me. Seriously. Other drivers I like/follow are Denny Hamlin, Reed Sorenson, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Ryan Newman, Dale Earnhardt Jr, and Elliott Sadler.

Football
Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers own my heart, but I like the Indianapolis Colts & the San Francisco 49ers (nostalgia reasons) as well. Granted it is hard to get me to sit down and actually watch a game due to the fact that when they are on, I am usually cooking. :up:

Ghost Hunters
This show makes me squeal. Seriously. I absolutely LOVE TAPS and Steve especially. ♥ I am a wanna-be ghost hunter myself, and keep hoping that I will find a way to get at least the bare minimum of equipment for doing so. We live near a cemetery, plus we believe there may be someone/something in our house.
