I was playing around with site names, I’d started a site called Peach Sugar that I was using as my blog, but for some reason, although I liked the Peach part, Sugar just wasn’t cutting it for me. After a bit of thinking, I figured that since I’m goth, I might as well use Gothic-Peach. The fun part was deciding if I wanted .org or .net. As of late, I’ve been preferring .net domain names, so I chose .net for this one. However, I’m already thinking of a new domain name, but haven’t yet decided if I am going to change to a new domain name or leave my site as is.
I registered my domain in June 2006 with GoDaddy.com. I originally hosted the site with GoDaddy as well, but recently moved over to Host Solutions. I was using my reseller account, but after a few downtime problems on Host Solutions, I moved this site over to E-Starr. I will probably move the site back to Host Solutions within the next couple of months. I have moved the site back to Host Solutions. After not being able to keep up with the payments on my reseller account with Host Solutions, I have moved the site over to HostGator. 
I have been through several domains over the years – raspberry-sparkles.org (which I miss LOL), negativemyth.org, cerulean-dreams.net, gothic-peach.net, charity-lynn.com, bloody-kisses.org, basicallygeeky.com, swantonrant.net, and others. Some of them are still in existence, others are not. I’m a domain name junkie and like to have a lot of domain names.
