Truthfully there is no such thing as a secure script. Some hacker will figure out a way to exploit any script that is produced. But I tried several different things last night and MT would not work for me at all, and frankly, I don't have the money to pay Six Apart to install it for me, so I'll just leave it be. In fact, from 2005 - 2008, the Department of Homeland Security has listed 120 security vulnerabilities for WordPress to Movable Type's 10. (http://www.movabletype.com/blog/2008/06/movable-type-a-history-of-secu.html) If you ever decide to get MT going again, you should hook up to the ProNet mailing list or hop into #movabletype on IRC. Lots of healthy discussion going on in those venues between people who could help you get things working for yourself. Hm, that’s odd.
