A couple of months ago my friends and I went shopping to get me a pair of good tennis shoes. I wear tennis/athletic shoes most of the time due to my feet being so messed up. It’s just easier to wear that type of shoe. Well, as we were shopping, a friend of mine’s advice kept coming back to me. She kept telling me to get a pair of skechers shape ups.

I did look into them but found one glaring problem – they don’t make them in wide enough sizes. Not even the men’s shoes were wide enough for me. So those were out. Then I got kind of upset with her though because she claimed that they’d be better for my feet and I needed to try and find a pair. I then informed her that the shoes I did get were the ones I was told to get by my podiatrist, who should know better than anyone what shoes are and are not good for my feet.

It’s almost time for us to start getting our yards cleaned up. This year will be a bit on the strange side since all the snow melting is probably going to cause mushy, muddy yards for a good month or so. It’s already starting to melt and the yard is already starting to be a mess. We were thinking the other day of things we might be able to do with the yard, and we though about getting an outdoor fireplace until I remembered they’re illegal here. Meh. I wish they weren’t, those are kind of cool.

Right now I guess the thing to worry about is how long it is going to take for the snow to melt away and for the ground to dry up enough to mow the yard or even to walk across it without getting stuck in the mud!
