I used a service called Mr. Tweet that told me who was following me that I was not following on Twitter, as well as other influential people I should be following that I was not. The result – I’m following 126 people on Twitter and being inundated with Tweets, most of which make absolutely no sense to me. LOL However, in the event that I actually do start to understand what is going on with them, I am leaving myself following them.

One of my followers/following people actually went through and unfollowed people who were not following him. I can sort of see his point. At this point, I have so many tweets to go through – if I don’t get on the computer and read them – I get VERY backlogged. For example – I had 16, yes 16, pages of tweets to go through this morning. And yet, only one or two of them were tweets I felt a need to reply to. Almost makes me wonder if I honestly want to continue with following all of those people. LOL

Do any of you, my readers, use Twitter? How do you handle the whole follower/following thing? Do you only follow people who follow you, or do you follow people you think might have something interesting or useful to say, even if they don’t follow you?
