So I have a choice between going to city hall and going to the 3rd floor (elevator…*shudder*) or calling them on the phone according to the email I got back today from city hall about how to report maintenance issues to the city. Now my problem is, I don’t want them to come in and look and then condemn my building because then I’d end up in serious trouble as I don’t have anywhere to go! So yeah. Big problems. LOL

A gal at work was asking me if I knew where she could get swimwear this late in the season. Apparently her daughter just started high school, and of course, they swim in high school phys ed. Her daughter doesn’t own a bathing suit and was told she had to get one. Well, of course, at this point, the stores are pretty much putting those away and bringing out all the winter clothes, so I told the gal she’d probably have to order one online. She didn’t look too happy, especially since she needed it by today!

I remember doing the swimming part of phys ed. One of my friends is terrified of the water and doesn’t know how to swim at all, and they still made her participate. I’ve always thought it was wrong to force the kids to participate in the swimming if they don’t know how. Sure, they kept my friend in the shallow end of the pool, but still. In that respect, you shouldn’t be forcing someone to participate. Let them go to the weight room or something instead. Sheesh.

Well, I suppose I’d better go. I still have to go complain to the landlords about the constant “nobody reads messages left for them” and the “nothing has been fixed” problems. Of course, now that it’s getting colder and wetter, the front porch won’t get fixed because the cement won’t set. At least that’s what they’ll say. Funny the road construction people can use cement and it sets just fine.
