Ok, unless you live under a rock and haven’t paid any attention to my site, you know I love Tony Stewart. He’s my favorite NASCAR driver of all time. With that said, why is it that ESPN has any right to say anything about him. At the end of this article it talks about how ESPN said he wasn’t a good role model because he said after his win at Chicago that he was going to celebrate by drinking a case of beer. So? Last I checked, beer was legal. And if it had been the drivers whose cars are emblazoned with beer logos, I’m sure it would have been perfectly fine for them to say that. After all, it would just be tipping their helmets to their sponsors now wouldn’t it?
Oh and the whole cursing thing? Lighten up. People cuss. Fact of life. They drop the f-bomb, ok, fine them, but $25,000 for saying bullshit, which 99% of the USA uses every day, please. And besides, Tony was right. You’d be amazed at the crap Tony fans take for being Tony fans.
