I am not paid for providing you tech support for your computer. There is an entire department that works for this hospital specifically for that. Yet you choose to call me out of my area to fix whatever it is you’ve messed up.
I am not paid to help everyone retrieve their paycheck stubs. I knew it would not be a good idea to put the check stubs on the computer only, as we have several completely computer illiterate employees who can’t even figure out how to turn the computer on, much less pull up their check stubs.
I am also not paid to set everyone’s passwords up, retrieve their passwords, etc. That is why they have the resolution center. Have them call the resolution center. Do not call me to fix it. I also prefer not to be included in assisting everyone with their Health Stream tests each year. I have my own to deal with. I prefer not to deal with everyone else’s as well.
I will be so glad when I am able to get a different job. I will be very happy if I get the job at Stream. Why? Because I will finally get paid for what I am already doing….providing tech support for everyone and their dog!
