I don’t know too many people these days who don’t have pets. Whether it be a dog, cat, gerbil, bird, or fish, almost everyone I know has some sort of pet. Sometimes they have questions about their pet that a vet just can’t answer. Vets are great, but they don’t have any real idea of what normal day to day behavior should be for our pets.

That’s why I was happy to find ZooToo.com. ) ZooToo allows me to connect with other pet owners in a social network type of environment. I can find other people who own the same type of pets that I do, and I can ask questions and get answers. Plus, I can affiliate my account with local animal shelters and animal rescues, which in turn can receive donations from ZooToo to help their causes. We’re talking things like pet food and other things. In fact, when I signed up, I saw a mention of possible shelter makeovers being earned. That would be cool, as I know our local Humane Society shelter needs a makeover badly!

Curious to see what a profile (even as badly unfilled in as mine) looks like on ZooToo? Check out this screen shot I took of my horribly empty profile. LOL

In case you’re wondering, I have two furbabies. ) I have a black cat named Spooky and a Shih Tzu named Panda. I don’t have a picture of Spooky on my phone right now, but I can get you a picture of Panda I took recently.

My pupper dog Panda :)

Isn’t he cute? ) A little fuzzy, but I’ll be fixing that as soon as I can “pin him down” so to speak. ) In any case, that photo is about to make it’s way onto ZooToo and then I’ll have to find some photos of Spooky for that as well. *sigh* I love my babies. )
