In the Dope Show. Sometimes, I swear, that’s what I feel like. Like I’m just a star in the Dope Show. As if somewhere someone is watching a television screen and laughing at all the shit that goes wrong in my life. Got a bill that won’t go away even after it’s been paid in full? Someone’s laughing it up. Knee goes bad and all the doctor’s will say is that I have arthritis? Yuk it up buddy.

Life can suck tremendously yet you have people who constantly look for the silver lining. My question is, have those people ever found a situation without a silver lining? Is it possible that there may just be situations in which the cloud just plain does not have a silver lining? I am not a silver lining kind of person. I don’t look for silver linings, because logic tells me they may not be there.

Of course, logic also tells me that ghosts don’t exist, but frankly, I’ve seen spirit/ghost activity with my own two eyes. So I know they exist. Even though logic tells me they don’t, I know they do. But for some reason, when logic says “there is no silver lining” I believe it. I don’t believe there is a silver lining.

Yep..there is no silver lining and we’re all stars now, in the dope show. Sounds about right. )
