Shopping, Pizza, Candles…

I went shopping with some friends today. First LaShawn and her mom picked me up (I don’t have a car) and we went all over. We went to Dollar Tree, where I got some votive candles and candle holders, Hobby Lobby, where I got cross stitch fabric and votive candles, a little needlework shop, but didn’t buy anything there, Wal-Mart, where I got a book, and Fareway, a local grocery store. Somewhere in there, we had lunch at McDonald’s as well. LOL

Then my friend Sarah picked me up and took me out to Pizza Hut for dinner and then to Wal-Mart because dimwit me forgot to get bleach the first time I was there. Then we went to her place to find towels I could use for bathing my dog. )

When I was at Hobby Lobby I checked out the stuff to make candles. I used to make candles all the time, but I left all the stuff down in Texas at my ex-roommate’s place because she made candles too, and a lot of the stuff we had, she’d bought. Now I want to get back into making candles, but the stuff is so darned expensive. I should be getting a $100 bonus check in November, so I’m figuring on using that to get some candle stuff, and then getting more at tax time. ) I can’t wait to start making candles again.

I guess I’ll leave off with another book. ) Seeing as how I’m such a reader. LOL I’m getting this one from Zooba in a few days (it’s shipped, I just haven’t gotten it yet).

Glad to hear that you had a nice weekend. I love cross stitch too, but making candles sound crazy and fun. ) Hope to get back to it soon.

You’re a wiccan? Cool haha I am too but i’m still in the broom closet stage… haha

Candles are easy to make for me now i’d rather use them for my altar rather that ones i buy. Plus my mom loves to make candles too so i didn’t really pay anything for the materials.

I use to do a lot of cross stitch… and even did crochet purses…lol. I have only made a candle one time and that was in Covent Gardens in London, England. It was pretty cool, but my candle looked really crappy. I instead buy candles as a good lesson since I suck as it…rofl. )
