Shoe Shopping!

One of the things I hate buying most for myself is shoes. At size 11-12 wide width, shoes are not always easy to find for me. I usually have to go to places that have off brands and cheap shoes or I can’t find the sizes I need. Tennis shoes are the shoes that are easiest to find in larger sizes, so I usually end up wearing them even when it’s not appropriate. Of course, it doesn’t help that the surgeries on my feet when I was a teenager left my feet very sensitive and tennis shoes or cross trainers are the most comfortable for me to wear anyways.
But lately I have found myself in need of some dressier shoes. You see, I’ve been adding some nicer, dressier items to my wardrobe, and they call for a bit of a dressier shoe. But I don’t have dressy shoes. Well I do, but they aren’t comfortable and so I rarely if ever wear them. I’m thinking of checking into Dansko professional shoes, but I’m afraid they might be a bit out of my budget. Then again, most of the good shoes, when I can find them in my size, are out of my budget. I guess I’ll just have to start saving up some of my money for better quality shoes!
