Randomness
This is the kind of stuff I like to read about in the news: Alaska Man Offers Friend His Kidney I mean…. it’s heartwarming to know that people DO still care about one another. At least sometimes they do. 
Work today was just freakish. I’m sooooo tired. We had dismissals out our ears plus we had to do a bunch of areas as well. I can definitely say it wasn’t fun. Plus they called a fire alarm in the kitchen, and it turned out that someone was horsing around and sprayed the fire alarm and it set off the system. Now as a housekeeper, we have to respond to those things. I was in the North building on the 9th floor, and had to take the stairs all the way to 5th floor, across the skywalk, down the stairs to 3rd floor….and I have a gel-brace on my left ankle because I sprained it 3 weeks ago and it’s STILL killing me. UGH! But I suppose it’s better than being bored. 
Speaking of the gel-brace…..I’m allergic to the stupid thing. If I don’t have a sock under it at all times, I blister like nobody’s business. The other night, I blistered and I’d only had it on for 2 hours and I’d sat still except for one trip to the bathroom! So I know it isn’t because the brace rubs my leg. *sigh* Good thing I have a doctor’s appointment on the 4th of October. I’ll have to have them check my ankle, because it’s not getting better, in fact it’s getting worse!
One of the gals in lab gave me a catalog of needlework items. I’ve already found a ton of patterns in there that I want desperately. I must find money to purchase these patterns. LOL I simply must.

Stupid gel-brace. That definitly sounds painful. Hope you get the patterns you wanted. I’m getting into sewing as well. It’s fun

That gel brace sounds like a pain in the butt. I hope your ankle gets better soon! I am not really into needlework, but I used to watch my babysitter do it when I was a kid and thought it would be pretty cool. I haven’t really had time to try it. Good luck with it.
