I finally got my phone fixed, but I’m just about ready to smack someone upside their head. The Samsung Juke is a phone that does not use memory cards. At all. It also only allows you to access the MP3 portion of the phone when connected via USB cable to a computer. So that means the ONLY method you have of getting your photos are to PAY VERIZON to email them to yourself. This is just one of the many reasons Verizon sucks.
- You have to pay them to send yourself a picture from your phone, because they offer NO WAY of getting it from your phone otherwise. WTF?
- No SIM cards. If my phone breaks and I want to revert to my old phone, I have to pay Verizon to switch me back to my old phone, instead of just switching my SIM card to my old phone. Even my TRACFONE has a SIM card people!
- They keep telling us to add a messaging package, but they won’t give us a family messaging package. They want us to go individual. And they do NOT have unlimited messaging. WTF?
I am not a fan of Verizon at all. If it weren’t for being under contract with my current phone to them until May of 2010, I’d tell my BFF to cancel my phone and get one of my own, even if I have to go back to Tracfone. But I have to wait at least until 2010 for that. I just hope this phone lasts that long. It’s already starting to open itself up in my purse. *sigh*
But the thing that cheeses me off the most is not being able to access my photos (which I was TOLD I would be able to as this phone has USB) without emailing them to myself. Seriously. I’m not paying $200 for a phone just to have a damn memory card for it. Not happening people. Not happening.
