Not Coming Home

Tonight I won’t be coming home after work. It’s blizzard conditions outside. I live 3 blocks from work and someone is picking me up to get me there. The majority of us are packing overnight bags to just stay there so we don’t have to brave the elements to get home. I never actually thought I would get stuck at work.

A few items I’m taking:

My current book - The Midnight Club by James Patterson
My iPod
My PJs

I’m not sure what else, besides my toothbrush, deodorant, and body spray. I’m going to pull money from the ATM at work to get food. This should definitely be interesting. I’m sure the vending machines will be empty by tomorrow morning.

Well, I’m off to finish loading my iPod and finish packing my bag. Perhaps I’ll take my tarot cards with me as well. Who knows.

Hi, I’m Jessica from Rouged, and you are one of my sites to comment on this week! =D

Ohh, blizzard conditions? We had those a couple weeks ago; I’m sure it’ll be fine!

    Loving the all-CSS layout! =DDD

That’s certainly a journey I don’t care to travel: get stuck @ work. I guess it’s a good thing that in Vegas it RARELY, if at all, snows. Good luck and I hope you don’t forget anything essential. Should be fun to hear about your experience.

I suddenly feel really lucky that I live in a country with 365 days of sun, and the occasional heavy rain (like now as I type).

I’m sure it would be loads of fun, somehow. =D

    Oh well…that kind of sucks!
It could be fun, but having to stay the night at work??? Hmmm…Surely you’ll be able to meet other people from work, or at least get to know your workmates better. Kudos for that!
