Not Again

I swear, I’m getting sick of seeing excerpts of my own damn blog in the “incoming links” section of my dashboard. I tried doing all the stuff you’re supposed to do when you find your blog content somewhere else and it didn’t do me a bit of good. In fact, when I reported them to Google, I was sent a form that I had to download, print, and fill out to prove that the content in question was mine and not the other guy’s stuff. Meanwhile he’s making money off his Adsense ads that are showing on content stolen from my site. I sent the forms off, but never heard anything back from Google so I have no idea if anything was ever done about it. (

What do you do when you find your blog’s content all over the internet, being used on other sites to gain money through various ad agencies like Adsense, AdBrite, etc?

I think I have a solution for you that will help you get more backlinks - In the first line of the post, link a keyword you want to your site. Also, change your feed to “excerpts” - that way they’re only getting the excerpt & not the whole article. Good luck with that!
