No Supplemental, Thanks

It’s so funny, at work they’re talking about benefits like we don’t already know all about them since we’ve all been there long enough to get them. But we let the people from HR ramble on about them. They kept talking about us getting supplemental life insurance to go with the insurance they automatically give to us. Well, since I don’t have anyone who is going to need a whole lot to take care of me once I’m dead, I don’t see the point. I have a prepaid funeral plan that my mom bought and paid for while I was in high school. Morbid yes, but hey, at least I know I’m taken care of. ) My mom bought herself one, hence there was no cost to have her cremated when she passed away 3 years ago. So no thanks, I don’t need the supplemental. Ask me when I have kids or a husband.
