Networking Issues?
The cyber lounge computers weren’t working right, they had to be rebuilt due to idiot installing crap on them. So now that they’ve been rebuilt, they’re trying to get them reinstalled. Out of curiosity I asked the IT guys there what kind of cables they were using. I wanted to know if they were using CAT5 cables (standard networking cables) or CAT6 cables. Apparently they use CAT5 cables. But the funny thing was, they couldn’t get the network to work on one of the computers. It just kept saying no network was detected. I figured it out for them though. The network connector they were hooking up to isn’t even connected to the network. Now they have to get that fixed.
It’s always nice to figure out something that the trained pros can’t figure out.
