A Few Minutes to Relax
Well, I suppose I have a lot of time to relax around here right now, being that I don’t currently have a job. But what I’m talking about is that I have a few minutes to relax before having to get up, clean up the dishes I need to fix dinner and fix dinner. Yes, we were lazy last night and didn’t do the dishes, and so the pan I need to cook dinner is not clean yet. LOL
I have become the chief cook around here. BFL’s mom cooks on occasion – if we’re having something she makes that I don’t know how to make, but BFL’s rarely cooks. However, she is making goulash later this week/month – of course, the one thing she cooks, I hate. LOL
But the dog is outside on the tie-out, BFL’s mom is dozing in her bedroom, BFL is on her computer, and here I am on my computer. I’m thinking of trolling through the MyPoints rewards to see if there is anything good there – like maybe restaurant gift cards we could use to break the monotony of eating at home. I’d like to find one for Chili’s or something like that, but Panera Bread would be good too. The only problem with that is I think the highest Panera Bread one is for $25 and last time BFL and I spent almost that for just the two of us. Argh. I am just 330 points short of being able to get both a $25 and a $10 gift card for pretty much anywhere I want to go, including Pizza Hut or Papa John’s pizza. *sigh* Guess I’ll have to wait for some more emails to come in. Hopefully I’ll get something that I can sign up for that doesn’t require a credit card. :/
Anybody else use MyPoints? I’ve been using them for a couple of years now – I’ve gotten iTunes gift cards, Panera Bread gift cards, Walmart giftcards, etc. If you use MyPoints, what have you gotten for rewards from them?
