Memory Lane
Ever stop and take a trip down memory lane, just for the heck of it? Let me see here… here are a few things I used to do…online…
- I used to run a Hardy Boyz fan site that actually got more visitors than their official site did at the time. Where is it now? Gone. I still have everything for it, I just don’t have it online.
- I used to bounce from plugboard to plugboard everyday, making sure my button hadn’t fallen off. I’ve stopped doing that, but I’m almost tempted to start up again just for the heck of it. LOL
- I used to use Tripod and Geocities as my main servers. I think everyone pretty much started out that way.
My first paid hosting account? Tripod Premium! LOL No ads and extra space, but it wasn’t a domain name.
I’m sure there’s more but I can’t seem to think of anything right now. I used to run a plugboard and a button exchange too, but they weren’t used much and I gave up on both of them. It’s funny, but I can remember when my main focuses were fan sites for wrestlers and Motley Crue (Nikki Sixx actually signed my guestbook o_O) and chatting with friends in an AOL room called Motley Forever.
There’s some new stuff going on at Cherry Ice Graphics - I’ve added WordPress Themes. Right now there’s only one theme, and that’s the one that’s on Charity-Lynn.com. I edited the theme so it would work for others. It’s a Nikki Sixx theme, perfect for a blog about Motley Crue, Sixx:A.M., Nikki Sixx, or music in general. Or if you like Nikki Sixx. LOL Some of my other “androgynous” themes will also go up there as soon as I grab them off my other computer. I’m also considering converting Cherry Ice to being powered by WordPress, but I haven’t made that decision yet. I may instead go with a CMS like Joomla or something. I’ll have to see on that.
I’m also working on learning to code MySpace layouts, but that one is VERY slow going as everything I try to do with it doesn’t seem to work. *Bangs head on table.* Oh well, I’ll get it soon enough.
