Man Burns Down Trailer
Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t this seem to be taking it a bit far? Now I’ve been in my share of online feuds. Most last maybe 2 or 3 weeks and then die out of their own accord. But this…..wow. I can’t believe someone would do something like that. Wait, I take that back. Yes I can. Because that is how our society does things these days.
We seem to have become such a volatile society that the slightest thing sets us off. We take online feuds against people we can’t see personally. If someone insults us, we feel the need to bring that insult right back to them. And if they don’t stop, we apparently feel the need to do some digging, find out who they really are, where they are, and do something about it. Whatever happened to simply going to the authorities of the website or chat service you were on? When did we start taking matters into our own hands, instead of getting the appropriate people involved to stop the conflict?
Is an online feud worth going to jail over? I don’t think so.

This bullshit is why I stay away from people, lol. There’s always some dent-brain who wants to start SOMETHING with you, and that’s the kind of person who’d burn your home down or kidnap your pet. People are so insane these days, the idea that they float through life the way they do amazes me.

Yes, it is insanely pathetic. I can tell you that I still have people that have hacked me back in March 2000 when I owned 3 of the top 10 Yahoo! Clubs (some over 50,000 members)… and they try to hack my own server (hence the downtime and the DNS attack that happened late May/ early June.)
People will always find a way to bicker with one another no matter in person or through some medium.

Never underestimate the stupidity of humans.
Ugh, I can’t stand getting into online arguments but sometimes they can be pretty entertaining to read. When you go online you have such a great anonymity that it’s easy to type what you feel without worry about repercussions.
Still, too many people do it and take it too far.
