I’m Starving
Yes, you read that right, I’m starving. I just got home from work and I want to eat. I’m having a cheat day and I’m eating pizza, if Domino’s ever gets here with it. *sigh* In any case, I have been to the podiatrist and I am not happy.
My furniture fund (blog advertising earnings) has now become the orthotic shoe insert fund. Why? Because I need $175 for the shoe inserts and even though they are prescription and custom formed to my feet, my insurance doesn’t cover them. So now I’m going to use the little over $200 worth of earnings I’ll be getting towards the end of this month and beginning of next month to pay for them. Then comes the fun part….. the earnings from after that will go to my “surgical” fund. Being as short term disability will only cover my rent and cable/internet bill and possibly not even the entire bill, I will have to save some money up for expenses during that time. I need to have surgery to remove a “tailor’s bunion” from my right foot. A tailor’s bunion is a bunion that forms by the little toe. Because the bone it’s attached to has been fractured, it makes it very painful if that bunion is squeezed. It needs to come off, and it will, as soon as I have the money to be off work for at least 6 weeks.
Don’t worry, I’m not begging any of my readers for money. I’m not putting up a paypal address to send money to, or a “donate” button for paypal. It’s really not my style.
It’s my problem, I’ll solve it.
In any case, I’m out of here. I need to wait for my pizza closer to the door. LOL
Ciao!

$175 for shoe inserts? Holy cow. I hate insurance companies. They never seem to cover anything that matters. Six weeks off for this surgery seems like a long time, I always thought bunions weren’t a big deal. I hope you get everything worked out.

Mmm pizza, we wall need to splurge once in a while. I’ve been splurging on chocolate lately. That is a lot of money for inserts, insurance can be such a pain, not paying for necessary things like that!
