I Wish
You know, some of the places I’ve worked for sent out corporate holiday cards at Christmas and the like. Not my current company. They don’t give us anything. No gift certificates, no free turkeys or hams, nothing. Not even a card to say Happy Holidays. Absolutely nothing! And the worst of it is, I’ve seen some pretty darned awesome cards out there! I mean, at least at the hospital we had a Christmas party. We don’t even get that where I’m at now. And they wonder why I dislike my job so much – I mean, it’s not like they do anything for us besides provide a place to get a paycheck. Like I heard on Charmed – I go to that evil place where they keep my paycheck. I don’t go to a place I like. That’s for sure.
Which is why I’m making a valiant attempt to once again find a different job so I don’t have to put up with all the crap at my current job.
