Ok, so my tax check showed up yesterday. Since the rental company I rented my laptop from were being jerks (they know I get paid on the 6th, and they said they’d wait until then, but now all of a sudden are demanding the tables and laptop back), I decided to take my tax check and buy a laptop outright. I got a steal at Walmart for $498 – Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5900, 1.9 gHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor TK57, 3GB SDRAM, 250GB HDD, DVD SuperMuti Drive, 15.4″ Trubrite Display screen. I am in love! 
So no, I didn’t spend my tax check on bills or on cruises or anything like that. But I did get to spend it on something fun, and now I can say that my laptop is all mine. Plus, it’s a better laptop than I had before. Now that’s cool.
