Have you ever noticed how many people take their health for granted? There are a lot of them. And for every 5 of them, there is 1 who is extremely committed to taking good care of their health. They’ll do anything from purchasing gym memberships and going religiously to shopping for nutritional supplements to keep them in tip top shape and health. It’s amazing to me what people will do.
I have a friend who counts the fat and calories in EVERYTHING she eats and drinks. I mean that literally. She also goes to the gym whenever she can and if she can’t, she’ll pop in a workout DVD at home and do that instead. I guess I’m just not that interested. LOL I’ve got that “we all die anyway so why prolong it” mentality. Of course, when I’m faced with dying, I’ll probably change my tune. But still. I am in relatively good health, but I am going to try and lose the extra weight I’ve been carrying around for a long time.
I guess when it comes to health, it’s a to each his own type of thing. Some people are overly concerned, others could care less. Which way do you lean?
