The Game Room

At work, in the “break room” which I prefer to call the cafeteria because that’s actually what it is, we have what is known as the game room. This room provides outlets for those of us who are just a bit on the frustrated side. There is a TV in there, usually tuned to ESPN, and when there’s a big sporting event on, you can bet there’s a ton of people in there, cheering and yelling and making a general ruckus.

But there are also tables with checkers, chess, a few other assorted board games, a foosball table, and two ping pong tables. Those are the most popular thing in the game room. You can buy 3 ping pong balls in the vending machine for $1.25 and then beat the daylights out of them. It’s actually quite fun, since no one actually plays by the rules. Mostly we just bat the balls around the ping pong tables and chase them down if they get away, which is most of the time. )

That’s about the only thing Alorica has going for them over Stream. Because frankly, their computers for us to get on the internet have everything blocked from them, the cafeteria is run by Culver’s and isn’t that great, and they pay less. Yeah. That was a bright move by me going to Alorica. LOL
