For the Love of Pete

Ok, I can handle pretty much anything, but when I go to my Project Wonderful account and see that in the 3 or 4 months I’ve been with them, I’ve made exactly $1.49, I’m wondering why I’m bothering with it. First of all, my highest traffic blog, which would be this one, they won’t accept saying I have too many paid posts, which is a possibility, but that I use too much content that isn’t mine. Excuse me? Sure I’ve posted the occasional meme, the occasional YouTube video, and I’ve linked to articles of interest and blogs that I like in my posts. But I have never copied and pasted anyone else’s materials to use on my blog, and I don’t link to articles and the like that often. So I’m wondering where they got the idea that my blog does not contain original content. Probably from the fact that when they checked, I had ONE sponsored post out of the four that were showing, and that ONE post out of the four that were showing was a meme. *sigh* They said this blog wasn’t a “quality” blog.

Here’s a clue. The people who are advertising on Project Wonderful are looking more for blogs that get hits so their site’s ads will be seen and hopefully clicked on, than they are for quality. This is easy to see from the ads that appear on my blogs that you did approve – all three are LOW TRAFFIC blogs and get the most ludicrous ads posted on my Project Wonderful bar. For the record, all three are set to a max of 2 cents because Project Wonderful won’t let me change it. Nice, huh?
