Diet Blogs?

Do you ever get tired of hearing about how this person or that person is losing weight? I’m serious! It seems to me that blogs all over the internet are focusing on how much weight they’ve lost, what they’re doing to lose the weight, etc. They tell if they’re using the best weight loss pills, if they’re just using diet and exercise, just diet, or just exercise. Some of these people even go so far as to give accounts of their workouts, they’re food intakes, etc. What I want to know is, why?

Are they looking for kudos for sticking to a regimen? Are they looking for advice from someone else? Are they looking for someone to tell them that the method they’re using doesn’t work so they can stop doing it? What do they want? You can keep a workout/food diary offline. You don’t have to publish it for the internet to read. So why do it online? I know I’ve seen blogs where the owners say that no one offline is supporting them in their quest to lose weight. Ok, so what? That is the dieter’s biggest problem. Rarely do dieters get support from their offline friends and family. So you keep up regardless. They don’t support you because they figure you’ll fail anyways. Prove them wrong.

It’s just because we came to a generation where people became health conscious and being healthy means proportioned weight. people all over the world are now mindful to their weight because it is now a common knowledge that overweight brings more illness in later years.
