My So-Called Life
Diagnosis: Arthritis
Well, there’s another part of me that arthritis has attacked. I have arthritis in my knee. The suggestion was a cortisone injection which I was willing to try right up until halfway through the Lidocaine injection and I freaked out like a 2 yr old. I am not good with needles and although I tried, It just didn’t work out for me.
But he never said anything about weight loss pills so that made me happy. He said frankly, although losing weight would help, it wouldn’t remove the issue and so if I could lose the weight it would be good. But he said it wasn’t an absolute necessity.
So now I’m sitting here with orders to take Tylenol and try to get my courage up to get the injection.
