You know, if my friend Heather keeps sending me videos on YouTube of older songs/bands that I miss, I’m gonna need an extra fat burner! I say that because I see those bands and videos and while I love the music I listen to now, I also miss the bands and music that no longer exist.
Some of my favorites from way back when, such as Motley Crue and Def Leppard are still going strong, but others like Thunder, Big House, and a few others no longer exist. Makes me long for my high school days, even though I hated high school. LOL
I find it interesting though how music cycles. I am finding a LOT of teens who are listening to and loving bands like Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Warrant, Skid Row, etc. These are the bands I listened to and loved when I was a teen (I am sad to announce that it has been 14 years since I was a teen). I still do listen to and love these bands. But I also like Godsmack, Disturbed, Mushroomhead, Evanescence, and other bands of “today.”
Do you have any “older” bands you like?
