You know, if my friend Heather keeps sending me videos on YouTube of older songs/bands that I miss, I’m gonna need an extra fat burner! I say that because I see those bands and videos and while I love the music I listen to now, I also miss the bands and music that no longer exist. ( Some of my favorites from way back when, such as Motley Crue and Def Leppard are still going strong, but others like Thunder, Big House, and a few others no longer exist. Makes me long for my high school days, even though I hated high school. LOL

I find it interesting though how music cycles. I am finding a LOT of teens who are listening to and loving bands like Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Warrant, Skid Row, etc. These are the bands I listened to and loved when I was a teen (I am sad to announce that it has been 14 years since I was a teen). I still do listen to and love these bands. But I also like Godsmack, Disturbed, Mushroomhead, Evanescence, and other bands of “today.”
