Choosing a Dog

I never used to be a dog person. I’ve always had trouble with dogs. Mostly your bigger breeds. I had a larger dog chase me up a tree when I was about 5 years old and big dogs haven’t been my thing since. But I do like smaller dogs, like the Boston Terrier. I think they’re adorable.

One of the things I like about smaller dogs is that, for the most part, they make really good family dogs. There really is nothing worse than doing what my friend did and getting a great big dog that ended up showing so much aggression towards humans that animal control where she lived told her she needed to have the dog put down.

I think a major factor in my decision that my next dog will probably be a Boston Terrier is that I found a great Boston Terrier Dog Guide Article on the internet that helped me to make the decision as to whether or not I wanted to get one. Of course, I always think that anyone wanting to get any type of dog should do a lot of research on the breed they’re thinking of before they get the dog. But that’s just my opinion.

All that said, for now, I’ll stick with my Panda Bear. He’s my love bug. But when he’s gone (hopefully not for several years yet) a Boston Terrier looks like one of my best bets for a great dog.
