I ended up going home right away yesterday because they said we were looking at 10 minutes between calls minimum. UGH I didn’t want to stick around for that. So I took the VTO and left. Then my friend called me and told me that he ended up leaving early too, because they closed the RoadRunner portion of the call center due to lack of calls. Lovely.
My Thanksgiving was pretty good. I got rid of some trash, fixed myself some chicken, mashed potatoes, and asparagus for dinner, and spent most of the evening playing games on Pogo, cleaning up a bit in the apartment, spending some quality time with my pooch, and watching TV. All in all, it was a very good day.
I finally finished the second book in the De Beers Series by VC Andrews, Wicked Forest. It was pretty darn good, and I’ll be reviewing it at Bloody-Kisses.Org shortly. Now I’m on to Twisted Roots.
I suppose I’d better go. I’ve had to work on this theme and properly code things that the theme author didn’t code correctly. The dates weren’t showing properly. They were showing ALL of my archives as being written on November 11, 2007 instead of the dates they were actually written on. *sigh* So I ended up having to fix that so they’d reflect the correct dates. I actually was accused of time shifting my posts when I never did so! It was simply my theme had an incorrect code for the date of the post and it made it look like the post had been written on a different day than it actually was. Hence I have the permalinks which do actually contain the correct dates. LOL
In any case, I’ve fixed that so it reflects correctly, no time shifting involved, just fixed some borked code in my theme. Well now, off I go to post my review of Wicked Forest and to see what else I can get into.
