I am a bingo addict. I love to play online bingo games. I can be found often times on Pogo.com playing Bingo Luau (look for divinemscharity) or Gamesville.com playing Three-Eyed Bingo or Catch Up Coverall (again, look for divinemscharity). I used to play at another site, but can’t remember what it was called now. LOL However, that one I quit playing at after a few people I played at Gamesville with had problems getting their prize money sent to them by the other site. These were people who had won on Gamesville and knew that Gamesville actually paid out. )

Now a friend of mine was telling me that at her church they won’t allow bingo because they say it’s a form of gambling. I’m not sure that I can totally agree with that. In a way, I guess you could say it is, if you happen to play where you have to pay in order to get the bingo cards, etc, you could say it’s gambling. However, I can’t see considering it gambling if you are playing somewhere that it is free to play, such as Pogo.com or Gamesville. Both have jackpots you can win that pay you money, but you don’t have to pay to play.

Although the definition of gambling is to play at any game of chance for money or other stakes, and Pogo does include the bingo games in their “token casino.” I just can’t get my head around it being gambling as frankly, they allow you to play bingo in school, and we all know you can’t gamble at school!

How do you perceive bingo? Do you think it’s gambling or just a game to have fun with?
