My mom and I took a trip to California to visit family in 1998. We drove there so that a) I didn’t have to fly, and b) so we could see some of the sights and have some fun along the way there and back. One of the things she wanted to do was stop at a bed and breakfast inn. We didn’t find one along the route though. Maybe we should have headed east, as in Vermont bed and breakfast inns seem to be quite common. Oh well, the trip to California was fun, even if we did end up running out of money on the way home and having to drive straight through from New Mexico to Iowa! Now THAT was an adventure. 
Seriously though, I really need to take a vacation from work and go somewhere. I’m starting to get more and more irritable when I’m at work, which is a clear sign I need to get away for a bit. I’m also considering finding a new job. There is one that I can walk to that I started the application process for, I just have to call in for a phone interview to get the face-to-face interview. I just don’t know if I want to take that cut in pay. Granted the cut in pay would be due to not getting the night differential where I am now, but I barely make my bills as it is. I’m not sure if I should get a job that pays me less than I get know. Especially when there are other jobs similar to that here that are paying at least $10 an hour, and they’re paying $9 and the job is union and you are required to join the union and pay union dues. I’m not sure I like that. I’ll keep thinking about it though. Talk to you later.
