One of the greatest superstitions I have ever seen is the one about Friday the 13th. I understand that 13 is supposed to be an unlucky number, but why is it that people freak out about the 13th falling on a Friday? Seriously, I’ve never really had any problems arise on Friday the 13th that wouldn’t have come up on another day. Really. I haven’t. So I just don’t get why people freak out so much about it.

Then again, I’m not really superstitious. I don’t have anything that I feel “has” to be done for any particular reason other than my own comfort or habit. There’s no actual meaning behind my saying bless you to someone who sneezes, it’s just what I was taught to do. I do it because it is my habit. I don’t believe that Friday the 13th brings anyone bad luck. In fact, I think it might just bring some people good luck. You never know.
