I put in an internal transfer application to apply for a spot on the day shift at work. I’m tired of working 3-11:30PM. If I want/need to do anything on days I work, I have to get up early and then hope it doesn’t run over when I need to be to work. If it’s at night, I have to worry about whether or not I can get the night off. If I get the day spot, I can do stuff after work and not worry about it.
If I don’t get the spot on the day shift, I’ll probably just hang onto the night shift spot I’ve got. I don’t have a car, and since this is only 3 blocks from my house, I can’t really just drop this job and get a new one. Even if I could find one that pays more, which I could. But I wouldn’t have any way to get there, and I can’t afford a cab. Hmph. LOL
In other news, I’ve decided that I’m going to pay off a couple of my smaller bills when I get my income tax refund. That way, they’re out of my hair, and I should still have plenty of money to play around with. I also plan on doing the whole “stock up on groceries” thing so I have plenty of stuff to snack on. Although I am going to try and make sure they’re relatively healthy snacks, as I am trying to lose weight.
Another good thing about going to days…. there’s a workout center at work, so I could go there after work a couple times a week and not have to walk home after midnight. 
That I definitely would not want to be doing.
I tried to walk my dog tonight, but he wouldn’t go off the porch. My porch is one big sheet of ice! I hope it’s not so bad tomorrow, because I have to get out somehow to go to work! LOL
Now that I’ve just started rambling aimlessly, I’ll sign off. TTYL!

Wow, I hope you can get that shift transfer! I couldn’t see myself working like that, but if it’s good…

Well, the problem with busses, is that you have to be working during the times they run. Not all placeskeep their shifts at times when the busses run. I might have to be to work at 2PM, but not get off until 10PM, and the bus doesn’t run at 10PM. At least not here. LOL

I’m so glad I don’t have a job yet; I’d hate to have to worry about taxes and the like.
And if you’re looking for a really yummy healthy snack, I reccommend clementines. They’re so good. And relatively cheap, too!

I am in that same boat with income taxes. I really dont want to pay bills with it, but I know I probably should. lol. I am glad I dont live where it’s cold. Phoenix is a wonderful WARM place…. except in the summer where it’s 110 outside.

Income taxes are amazing, aren’t they? My man just got his income tax come back in and he got such as 4,000. WOW! I wonder how much you’ll get.

Income tax refunds are super. My friend got a huge refund and then the government told him that they had made a mistake. He had to return most of it back, but of course… he had already spent almost all of it. He was fucked, because he didn’t have any spare money to give. Lesson: save for a rainy day. People in North America tend to never save at an early age and wonder why they’re still working past old age. It’s fine to live your life well (with all those material goods)… but it’s all about balance. Your life, spending habits and bank account. LOL.
