Saving Money on Shoes

When I get the money to be able to buy new tennis shoes (having to wear only New Balance, and having to wear them in Men’s, not Women’s gets expensive), I usually try to make sure that I can get the best deal on the shoes. We have a few different shoe stores here and while I often hit up Famous Footwear, the past couple of times I’ve been considering going into Finish Line.

I’ve gotten a few finish line coupons from friends via e-mail, but I just don’t know if I want to deal with it. First off, some shoe store employees (Shoe Carnival, I’m looking at you) give you weird looks if you are a woman and asking to see men’s shoes *and* trying them on yourself. Other shoe stores (Footlocker, I’m staring at you) will insist on sending you to Lady Footlocker, stating that they have nothing for you there.

That being said, I do try to go where I can get a great deal and if I have coupons next time I go, I might just go ahead and give Finish Line a try.
