I wish we had some good concerts coming here. There is nothing better to me than hitting up the Tyson Event Center, parking myself next to an amp stack with a row of marshall 1960a amps across the top, and just rocking out to my favorite band.

I can remember an ex-boyfriend of mine, guitar player, who used to drool over the very amp stacks I mentioned above. He was always talking about wanting to be like the bands we used to listen to back in high school and wishing he could have those amp stacks that I was so fond of parking myself right next to.

Those amps were always the best amps in the business – and the loudest! We loved to see the Marshal stacks, although he never wanted to park himself next to it like I did. But I always wanted to be right there, letting the stacks thump with me right next to them – it almost felt like my heart would beat in time to the music when I stood there. How I miss those days of standing next to those amp stacks.
