My 2.25 year search for a job is now complete. Today I was called by the McDonald’s that I’ve placed several apps in for to offer me a job. I was interviewed last week and am now employed by McDonald’s.

I’m sure that some people will be all “McDonald’s? You’re working towards a college degree and you’re working for McDonald’s?” But yes, I am working for McDonald’s. It’s a job. It will provide me with much needed employment, cash flow, and yes, I might even get to try to get my food stamps back, although I have to see how many hours per week I am given before I can apply for the food stamps again.

But the fact of the matter is, I have a job. I will be working again. I will have money to pay bills again. That is the most important thing about this.
