For those who do not know, I ♥ Hello Kitty. And I do mean I ♥ Hello Kitty. Consequently, between my goth/rocker chick tendencies & Hello Kitty, Hot Topic is a favorite store.

For example – yesterday LaShawn and I went to Hot Topic and picked up 2 copies of Evanescence’s new self-titled CD, 2 sets of Hello Kitty earbuds (tradition Hello Kitty for her, skeleton Hello Kitty for me), 3 nail polishes, and a pink leopard-type print wallet.

Tonight we went back to Hot Topic. LaShawn got a bottle of Cracked nail polish in pink and 2 clip-on, glow-in-the-dark hair extensions. I purchased an Evanescence t-shirt, skeleton Hello Kitty wallet, skeleton Hello Kitty necklace, Cracked nail polish in blue and purple, red and black armwarmers, and Nyx Ice Queen creamy glitter palette. Yes Jenn, I said GLITTER. LOL

Of course, we didn’t just go to Hot Topic. We stopped at a sunglasses booth where LaShawn got a new pair of shades, since hers broke a couple months ago. We also stopped in at GameStop where I picked up NASCAR Kart Racing and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

We won’t even go into what all we got at Walmart, but suffice it to say that two 8GB iPod Touch units were purchased and made their way home with us. In fact, I am currently listening to music on my unit while my best friend is updating her software on hers. I should do that with mine.
