Dyed Hair & Business Shopping
So I got tired of the two-toned crap I had going on with my hair and got it dyed. I asked for black but the gal wouldn’t give me the jet black I wanted.
She gave me what amounted to a really dark brown, but unless the sun hits it just right, you think it is black. Kind of like my cat. LOL I’ll have to get LaShawn to take a picture of me tomorrow, when there is enough light to do so.
After the hair dying excursion & lunch, we put the plastic on the windows at home, then went shopping. The first store we hit was Petsmart because I needed dog shampoo, a new collar and leash for the dog, and dog treats. His favorite treats are $5.99 per bag, so LaShawn bought 2 bags and I bought 2 bags. LaShawn also bought the spoiled brat a sweater.
Then started the business shopping. We went to Target where I picked up some cloth diapers for a project I’m working on for Eternal Stardust Baby, plus a few items for me – feminine things, nail polish remover, cotton balls (for eye makeup removal), and a Sally Hansen combination base/top coat.
After Target it was Hobby Lobby, where I picked up a pin cushion & pins (for the Eternal Stardust Baby project), a big bucket of sea salt, several packs of soap dye, & several fragrance oils for The Candlelight Boutique.
Then we went off to Michaels, where I purchased 4 4-oz tins for packaging bath salts, a couple more fragrance oils, a few more soap dye packs, and a boatload of cotton yarn for The Candlelight Boutique.
We then took the dog for a long car ride, after which we went to grab dinner at McD’s.
We have so many Medium Fries tickets, we’ll never use them all.
After McD’s it was out to Walmart. I picked up printer ink, clean edge business cards, labels to make product labels & return address labels, shipping labels, printer paper, a large glass mixing bowl (for mixing salts, butters, scrubs, etc.), scoops (for the salts), packaging materials for scrubs, more yarn, and a hand blender for making whipped bath items for The Candlelight Boutique.
Now I just have to enter into Outright all the stuff I bought for the business today.
Fun fun.
