As pretty much every Evanescence fan knows, Evanescence released their 3rd album on October 11. I had a chance to listen to the full album – Deluxe Edition – via Spotify (which is now open to everyone in the US – no invites needed). I am a huge fan of Evanescence and their 3rd studio offering is no exception.

The first single, What You Want, is my current favorite, but that is probably because I have figured out most of the words already, even if I stumble over them when I sing along. Some people were saying that they weren’t sure that the new album would be their cup of tea based on the first single. However, after having heard the full album, I can definitely say that no one should be disappointed with this new CD.

If you aren’t sure you’ll like the CD, get a Spotify account and give it a listen there first. You won’t be disappointed.
