So as I was walking my dog, I saw some things that I figured would make great photos. Since I had my purse with me (we’d just taken Panda for a car ride), I had my little Sony P&S camera with me as well. I grabbed it and took a couple of pictures. These were edited in Picasa 3.

Yellow Tree in a sea of Green - Focal Black & White Effect

Same yellow tree in a sea of green - used the Soft Focus effect.

Random tree in the park across the street - used the Warmify filter.

Rust colored leaves on the ground - used the Focal Black & White filter.

I am really liking Picasa 3 from Google to edit photos. I am finding that I can get good, crisp photos using this software that are “light” enough for my Etsy shop. While I am by no means a photographer, I think I can take a pretty decent photo given half a chance. I just don’t do so well on editing.
