I Sincerely Wish
That I never had to go to Walmart again. Wally World as I and many of my friends/family affectionately (or not) call it, drives me absolutely insane. It is the one place on this planet that is guaranteed to make me have a public temper tantrum, especially if I happen to be tired, hungry, or have a headache.
To be perfectly honest, the only reason that I go there in the first place is because they have the cheapest price for the bigger packages of the groceries we need. Since I use an EBT card to get my groceries, I can’t go to Sam’s Club because our Sam’s Club does not accept EBT. I have heard of Sam’s Clubs in other states accepting EBT, but ours does not for whatever reason. So in order to get a large enough quantity 1 at a cheap enough price, I go to Walmart.
But Walmart is always so crowded, even at 3am, and seeing as how I am anti-social 2 and anti-crowd 3, Walmart is probably my least favorite place to be. Even the mall is not this crowded, or if it is, at least I do not see someone’s screaming child in every single aisle I go down 4. I barely tolerate the times I am there late at night when the crowds are bit thinner than in the afternoon, so you can probably imagine what I am like if I have to go there during the afternoon.
What brought this post on? The abject annoyance that is having to go to Walmart to get a few groceries for the coming week. Remind me never again to go during the afternoon if I can at all help it.
- I buy non-perishable
items in larger containers so they will last the whole month. ↩ - To a point…I do not like people in general, but a select few are all right. ↩
- Dear Heavens the CROWDS. ↩
- I am not saying all these children are misbehaving because they are just brats, I realize some could be autistic or have other issues that cause this. I am just saying that if there is not a specific reason, parents should at least correct the behavior instead of letting the kid scream. ↩
