One thing I have noted about most of the guys that I have dated is that they like things with their names on it. I have no idea of why that is, but almost every guy I have dated has loved to have all sorts of personalized things. I had one boyfriend who would literally comb the internet looking for Personalized Men’s Apparel. I often wondered if it was so he could look at his shirt and remember who he was when he was drunk. He was a bit of a lush.

I am not saying I do not like personalized items. I do like them, quite a bit actually. But I have a difficult time finding them. Charity is not exactly a common name, so companies do not make personalized items with that name on them. I have to fight to find even my middle name because it is apparently not spelled correctly if you ask most people. I guess Lynn is for a male while Lynne is for a female. I do not buy that argument but that seems to be the way it works.

People wonder why sites that sell custom personalized items are such a hit. With all of us who have oddball names, it makes sense that these web sites would do well selling custom items. After all, even if it is just a coffee mug, most people love to have at least one thing with their name on it.
