Single

There’s a song out by Natasha Beddingfield that describes me perfectly. The song is called “Single” and if I had the patience right now, I’d post it here for you to listen to. I don’t, but basically the song is saying how right now, I like being single. That’s how I want to be.

I don’t need the hassle of a boyfriend/fiance/husband. I don’t need to have to answer to someone on a daily basis of what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, why I spent the money I spent, or why I chose what I chose. I realize that relationships aren’t always like that but you know what I mean. I don’t need any other people to have to deal with.

The way my life is right now, I don’t have to tell anyone where I’m going. I don’t have to say “don’t spend any of the money in the checking account, it’s going for a bill.” I don’t have to buy things like men’s jewelry because I don’t have a man. ) I’m pretty happy at this point just being single.
