One week from today I will be coming in at 8am and sitting in a classroom so that I can start training for Sirius Satellite Radio’s OEM department. Why? Because Road Runner has dropped this call center. We had 3 choices. Take Sirius, take Nike which doesn’t start until July, or quit. I’ve spoken with several people who chose to quit. I’ve spoken with several people who chose Sirius. The majority of the people chose Nike. I chose Sirius.

Why did I choose Sirius? Well, because I’m not an athletic person. Sports and fitness aren’t my thing. They want people who are into that type of thing. They want people who have perfect attendance and who are quality kings and queens and never mess up. Not me. They also want people who are willing to sell tennis shoes. No thanks.

I’ll get a free satellite radio for being on Sirius. At least it’s worth more than the free security software they gave us for working for Road Runner.
