I swear, I am the queen of having things I don’t bother to use. Seriously. I have a lot of books I don’t read, which is why a lot of them are going on Paperback Swap. I have a lot of other stuff I don’t even look at in my apartment which is why I’m starting to go through it all and get rid of what I don’t want or need. I even have savings accounts that I’m not even bothering to use. So why on earth do I have them? I have no clue. I plan on getting rid of 2 of them and just keeping the one open. That way I’m not constantly having to keep everything straight.

Ok, I’m loving my Sirius Internet Radio. No commercials. A bit of DJ blabber, but not over the music. It’s awesome. And the stations are awesome. Hair Nation and Octane are my current favorites. If you have Sirius, what’s your favorite station?

It’s so funny, at work they’re talking about benefits like we don’t already know all about them since we’ve all been there long enough to get them. But we let the people from HR ramble on about them. They kept talking about us getting supplemental life insurance to go with the insurance they automatically give to us. Well, since I don’t have anyone who is going to need a whole lot to take care of me once I’m dead, I don’t see the point. I have a prepaid funeral plan that my mom bought and paid for while I was in high school. Morbid yes, but hey, at least I know I’m taken care of. My mom bought herself one, hence there was no cost to have her cremated when she passed away 3 years ago. So no thanks, I don’t need the supplemental. Ask me when I have kids or a husband.

I swear, my cat is a sweet heart, but a royal pain in the butt. I spend more money on cat supplies than one would honestly think. He’s a toy-cat, meaning he loves toys, he uses a good bit of litter, and only scoopable will do, and he will only eat one brand of cat food. That’s 9 Lives if anyone is interested. Now I went to get some more cat food the other day and was informed at the store I was at that they didn’t carry 9 Lives because it is “crap” and that as soon as they could, they’d stop carrying everything but this $20 for 4 lbs of “all natural” cat food. I said that was fine, but they could expect to close their doors soon after since frankly, the majority of us just can’t afford to pay those prices. Besides, I don’t believe it when they say things like “your cat will eat less” or “there will be less cat poop in the litter box.” Whatever. I have a friend who uses that all natural food and she says her cat eats just as much as she did before and that she poops just as much too.

I really am. I’m sick of all the crap at work. Now they say that we have a call certification process to go through and that if we don’t pass, we’ll lose our jobs. All that is well and good, but frankly, I don’t do well with calls I know are fake. I’m seriously thinking I might need a wine of the month club or something like that, just to be able to get through half of this stuff. Just kidding. I won’t start drinking just because of my job. That would be stupid. But I could still use the wine…it would be good for my rituals and the like.
