My friend’s sister had a little girl in May. The baby is adorable, of course, and so grandma and auntie spoil her as rotten as they can. So you can imagine that when we’re out and about, if we pass a store or section of a store that sells baby clothes they have to stop and look to see if there’s anything they want to buy for her. They’ve already gotten her a few outfits, and I’m sure it’s not going to stop there. Of course, I wonder what they’ll get for her when she gets to be that age when clothes are not what she wants for Christmas and birthdays? LOL Then again, they get her a lot of stuffed animals as well, so I don’t see a problem until she’s a teenager. Then there will be a problem. That’s right about when you stop being able to figure out what they want.

Because my wrestling shows occur when I’m at work. LOL Granted, I’m 2 days late watching WWE RAW, but that’s all right. Who cares as long as I get it watched before next Monday’s RAW. LOL Right now it’s Chris Jericho who is coming to the ring, but I’m actually not much of a fan of his anymore. I used to be a huge Jericho fan, and who knows, now that he’s back in the spotlight, maybe I will be again. But as of right now, I’m thinking it’s all a bit overdone and a bit old. :roll:

In any case, here I am, listening to RAW and blogging because truthfully, I’d rather listen to RAW than watch it at this point. Now, I’m telling you, I’ve dealt with some really stupid people at work lately. As in, people who sit there, know their cable TV isn’t working, but instead of calling the local office and saying “hey, the TV is off” they call the internet number. Duh. I tend to call the number I need to call. Except for when my internet goes out because the number you’re supposed to call for internet doesn’t work and if you tell my cable company that, they say you’re dialing it wrong. No, I’m dialing what’s on my paperwork for tech support for the internet. You printed it wrong.

I got home from work tonight and my apartment was absolutely freezing. And I do mean freezing. My kitchen was warm, but the main part of the apartment was freezing cold. Found out that my dog had shoved his bed over on top of the heat vent. Darn dog! I like warmth. The apartment was so cold, I actually ended up turning the heat up to 81 in my apartment so I could get the chill off the place. Now I’m waiting for the furnace to shut off so I can turn the thermostat down.

I suppose I’d better go for the time being. I have to go pick up some stuff in my kitchen to try and get it cleaned up after my pooch decided the trash was a good thing to get into. TTYL

Why am I here? Why am I doing this? Why do I bother? LOL I ask myself these things all the time. Like, why do I bother gathering up the garbage when my dog will inevitably get into it and string it all over before I can get it to the dumpster. LOL

Yeah, I’m having one of those days. I couldn’t sleep last night to save my life. I honestly thought it was going to be a night of not being able to get to sleep at all, causing me to be up for over 24 hours before I could go to bed. And then I’d still be in trouble because I doubt I’d be able to get all the sleep I needed before I’d have to get up again!

Then there’s the chick at work who is driving us all nuts. Now we get monitored on our calls and I’ll tell you what, they can fire you on the spot if they hear certain things. There are things that this girl has said, while her customer is on mute, that MY customers have been able to hear her saying. And yes, they CAN fire ME for something SHE said that they heard on MY call. Which I think is totally BS because that’s not fair to me, if she said it and my customer hears it, that I can be fired for it. All of us in the corner have complained about her. Most of the time she speaks so loudly that people at the other end of the bay can hear her. So yes, we want her out of there. I can honestly say I’ve never hoped more that someone either gets fired or transferred to a different team.

Well, I suppose I’d better go for the time being. I’ve got to go to work and I need to wait for my ride to come get me. TTYL

You know, one of the things that they stress at Stream is investing in your future. So much so in fact, that they actually start your 401k contributions, taking 2% out of your paychecks starting on the first day of the month following your 90th day of employment. Yeah. So I started looking around and trying to see if there was anything I could invest in on my own, besides the 401k at work. What I found were things like us gold coins. I can buy several, store them in a safe deposit box, and take them out and sell them one at a time if I need to. These are something that coin collector shops are usually looking for, at least in my area they are.

I’m looking at the possibility of getting my coins from Monex, as they have been around for over 30 years, serving America’s needs for investment in precious metals. I found it interesting to find out the different forms that silver takes when being used for investment purposes - either silver coins or ingots and that gold can actually be purchased in bars as a way of investing in gold. Now that’s cool. So you can see, there are options as to how you want your investment to be done, bars, ingots, coins, etc. I think it’s pretty neat to tell you the truth.
